This ampoule contains a concentrate for preparation of a solution that can be analyzed for bromide, chloride, fluoride, nitrate nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, sulfate, and orthophosphate phosphorus in water.

To prepare solution, partially fill a 1000mL volumetric flask with reagent-grade water (near 20 °C).

Open ampoule PE1060-20ML (be careful to avoid cuts on glass) and transfer 10.0mL of the concentrate into the volumetric flask.

Fill to volume (1000 mL) with reagent-grade water and mix well.

The sample is now ready for immediate analysis

A blank reagent-grade water should be analyzed concurrently for background correction.
