PE1250-2ML Volatile Organic Compounds 1 - WP
Description
This PT sample is packaged as a 1.5 mL concentrate.
The solvent for this sample is methanol.
The PT sample is not preserved.
Sample Preparation
Fill a 100mL Class A Volumetric Flask to volume with organic free reagent water.
Open ampule PE1250-2ML and withdraw 20µL of the solution using a gas tight microsyringe.
Inject the concentrate into the expanded area of the flask well below the surface of the water.
Stopper the flask and mix by gentle inversion 3 times. Excessive mixing will result in loss of volatiles and should be avoided.
This represents the sample for analysis.
DO NOT USE a matrix simulator with this sample.

PE1278-2ML Volatile Organic Compounds 3B - WP
Description
This PT sample is packaged as a 1.5 mL concentrate.
The solvent for This sample is methanol.
The PT sample is not preserved.
NOTE: This sample is a quantitative as well as qualitative test. Some analytes may not be present.
Sample Preparation
Fill a 100mL Class A volumetric flask to volume with organic free reagent grade water.
Open ampule PE1278-2ML and with draw 20µL of the solution using a gas tight microsyringe.
Inject the concentrate into the expanded area of the flask well below the surface of the water.
Stopper the flask and mix by gentle inversion 3 times. Excessive mixing will result in loss of volatiles and should be avoided.
This represents the sample for analysis. Report in µg/L.
NOTE: Samples PE1250-2ML, PE1251-2ML, PE1202-2ML, and PE1278-2ML can be prepared as one sample by adding 20µL of each concentration to 100mL of organic free reagent grade water. This is only intended for GC-MS methods. The samples were split to eliminate coelution problems and thus must now be addressed.
DO NOT USE a matrix simulator with this sample.
